Not all growth can be seen. Sometimes, we feel it stirring deep inside of us. And there's nothing we can do but trust that things are unfolding as they should—even if it doesn't look like it on the outside.

This is where I find myself now. Nestled in the sacred soil of my being. Things are moving slowly (are they moving?), and the path forward remains a mystery to me. Old themes keep looping back around, things I thought I worked through already. Despite my best efforts to manifest a great new beginning, I still feel like I'm in the waiting room.

Recent years have brought me challenge after challenge, so many deaths of who and what I thought I was. An infinite cycle of shedding and dismantling all that is no longer serving me. I sit here now, free of my past identities, the doors to those chapters slammed firmly shut (for the better, I remind myself constantly).

But I feel in limbo. The deaths have taken place, but I'm awaiting a clear rebirth. I'm trying to pry the doors open to my next chapter, in part by starting this Light Haven Studio endeavor. Yes, I feel changed. Expanded, even in the face of continuing challenges. But I don't yet feel like I'm on solid ground.

Once again, I'm leaning into trust. I don't doubt that magic and transformation have occurred. That I'm growing into an even more extraordinary version of myself. But good things take time.

This piece, Sacred Waiting, is a love letter to this season of becoming. A season that asks for patience, trust, wisdom, and protection.
